Wordless Wednesday

I miss the Wordless Wednesday!! This week is something so adorable!! And that's really saying something because I HATE BUGGIES!!! My hubby found this outside today. I would love to know the name of it. (Is it Florida-native?)

If You Give Your Wife a New Digital Camera

Your wife's birthday is coming up next month. She only wants a new digital camera.

If she has a new digital camera, she can take pictures of the children.

But first she would have to buy them new matching outfits.

Then she would have to have a really good book to learn how to use the camera.

And of course she would need better software to edit the photos.

And the colors wouldn't be accurate unless she viewed them on a better monitor.

And then she would spend all of her free time on the computer!

**Story based on true real life experience of my husband. Original story by me, cre82learn, graphics obtained online.**

I'm baaacckk!!

Wow! I know it's been a long time since I've made a post. So what have I been up to? Well, my grandmother passed away, we went on a long vacation, decided impulsively to move, packed up and moved to a smaller rent home but at a more convenient location (still trying to decide if location is more important than space!)and suffered through some computer problems. Now I am only in dire need of a new monitor and I will be up and good as new.

I got a new camera for my birthday. It's a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50. I think it is more what they call a hybrid SLR camera. All of my previous digital cameras have been Canons. And I love them. But I wanted to step up and do a little more serious photography. I researched for months between my top two choices, a Canon Rebel or Nikon D40. I had finally decided on a Nikon. While waiting for my hubby to come around to spending that much money (because I have to have the extra lenses too!)I realized that it wouldn't do that much good without Photoshop. And then I would definitely need a better monitor. Other than the fact mine is 10 years old, the picture sometimes "vibrates". I think I could write a book on this. Thinking along the lines of If You Give A Moose a Muffin (or any of those other very similar titles!). If You Give a Woman a New Digital Camera. Yup, the words are just coming to me now. Time for that next post!
